The Duolux is a completely new Bresser development. It combines the advantages of an incident light type with a transmission type microscope to a handy combined microscope.
With an integrated slide table, the classical microscope stage can be quickly transformed into an incident light stage with a 38mm diameter work field. The 45 mm variable distance between objective and work field is large enough to be able to view most interesting objects with incident light. The illumination source can easily be adjusted with a little joystick - also a new development by Bresser. Both illuminators can be switched on and off and are seperately dimmable and can be used with battery or AC adapter. For transmission type microscopy, the integrated filter wheel is an optimal addition. The complete standard accessories (e.g. electronic eyepiece, slides, preparation aids) can be stored in the integrated drawer.
